VideoRetailer.org was originally founded by Xavier Casanova. Xavier is a Silicon Valley serial entrepreneur specialized in eCommerce, Web Analytics and Video commerce. Xavier was the founder of Web analytics innovator Fireclick in 1998 (acquired by Digital River (NASD:DRIV) in 2004, Perenety (now Wambo) and most recently, Liveclicker, one of the technology pioneers in the video commerce space. Doris Obermair currently works as a business developer and video marketing consultant at ON i ON comunicación in Barcelona, a marketing firm specialized in the creation and production of video content for the Internet. She holds a BA in Business Administration and a MBA in Marketing from the University of Business and Economics of Vienna. After 3 years as business consultant in Vienna, she moved to Barcelona in 2001 where, after a short period in e-Learning, she started to work as a online business consultant for Multiplica. In 2005, she joined ON i ON and started to work as producer and editor for infonomia.tv, the first online web TV on innovation in Spain and created online contents for a number of national and international clients. She is also works as a journalist and blogger writing about the Internet, business, design and innovation.
